Are you looking for something special?

I wish I could say I’m a successful business woman who has gotten it done over her illustrious and satisfying career. I can’t.

I wish I could say I’ve written a best-selling book and people line up at my book signings because I’m so awesome. I can’t.

I wish I was from somewhere exotic but I grew up in Southwestern Ontario Canada on a farm off a paved road known as the 3rd line. Plenty of chores and manure but nothing very exotic.

I do come from an Amish Mennonite family and some people think that’s kind of cool until I explain to them that I wasn’t from a horse and buggy type family. They usually lose interest after that confession.

Sometime I wish I had a more sordid past but I have been married to the same man for 29 years and we have three fabulous kids. He was my my first and only.

Here’s the thing.

I love stories. I love to laugh and I love having fun. I’m hoping this site, despite my lack of anything shiny or scandalous or sexy will be a place for all those things.
